- Career exploration, resume development, interviewing skills, and labor market information are additional service strategies provided to give CareerSource Pasco Hernando youth an advantage in entering the world of work.

On-the-Job Training & Internships

Career Exploration
Introducing Pasco and Hernando students to career opportunities.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Students went on a behind the scenes tour of the Clearwater Marine Animal hospital. They were told about the aquarium's efforts in marine life preservation, as well as observe a sea turtle rescued and brought in the night before. There was a total of 26 Youth from Pasco and Hernando Counties who attended the trip.
MOSI
Students were able to explore MOSI and visit each one of their exhibits, which include Disasterville, Mission Moon Base, Bio Works Butterfly Garden, The Amazing you (human body exhibit) and attend several educational movies in the Imax theater. We had a total of 31 Youth from Pasco and Hernando counties attend this trip.
Stetson Law University
Students were given a tour of the campus. They were then taken into a court room where a group of 2 Lawyers, and 2 current Law students went through the process of selecting a jury for a trial. The students were able to interact, and give ideas on what they felt should be different with each Lawyer and the process. There was a total of 21 Youth from Pasco and Hernando counties who attended this trip.
